Waterside has plenty to offer including a bespoke art room, as well as a yoga and mindfulness area, chill out zones, formal learning areas, a bushcraft site and access to a beautiful orchard and surrounding countryside.

Creative Intervention

Using the arts including music, art, mindfulness and movement to reduce the barriers to engagement for young people struggling in mainstream education.

Bushcraft Interventions

Utilising the power of the natural world, and the benefits of ecotherapy, Running Deer Bushcraft Intervention offers bespoke interventions at our outside area of Waterside.

Trauma Informed

Approach

Bespoke Trauma-Informed work, utilising the arts and creative play with young people who would benefit from regular therapeutic sessions on a weekly basis.

Formal learning

With access to learning include ASDAN Awards, Gateway, Open Awards and the John Muir Awards young people can work towards gaining vocational qualifications and certificates.
